To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of this relationship (1965-2015), the National Youth Achievement Award Council and the High Commission of Canada are organizing a logo competition to create a symbol of this important milestone and relationship.
RATIONALE:
Basic shapes of both maple leaf and orchid is merged together to create a unique shape that represents unity between Singapore and Canada. Maple leaf representing Canada and orchid representing Singapore. The numbers 5 and 0 are intertwined to show the ongoing bond between Singapore and Canada today and in the many years to follow.
